Moonriver Audio 404 Integrated Amplifier 404 Integrated Amp & ATC SCM40 Ver2 review

Moonriver Audio is a Swedish Audio company which started in 2015. There are quite a few reviews on the Moonriver Audio 404 Integrated Amp and the common denominator among all the reviewers is that this amp has put a spell on them. Any thoughts of pairing this amplifier with ATC passive speakers (SCM 7,11,19 & 40) was quickly removed from my mind as the amplifier power output is a modest 50watts x 8ohms and ATC demand at least 75watts x 8ohms. However out of the blue I found this review from South Korea which reviewed this amp with ATC SCM 40 speakers which goes into specific details and concludes as I quote 'You can get a system of excellent hi-fi sound that delivers the information without adding or subtracting.' This makes possibilities exciting!
