  • CD Player decoupled with IsoAcoustics Orea Bronze Isolators

I have just decoupled my Onkyo 7000r cd player by removing the feet and placing it on IsoAcoustics Orea Bronze isolators and the results are very audible and possibly the best tweak I have made with my current system.
I am going to isolate my preamp and power amp and get the Gaia 11 isolators for my SCM 40's as well.

this feet would double the price of my cd player ;-)

From the pic above it looks like approx £200 worth of tweaks per component; its a good thing that they are a revelation....!

          It is worth every cent.
I don't have to upgrade my cd player which I thought was holding my system back.
It's surprising how much potential was there but wasn't available to me because of the brass feet on the unit were compromising it as volume rose.
I don't have to upgrade my equipment rack as the as the Orea isolation feet have rendered that unnecessary.
It is probably the cheapest upgrade I have made in terms of the the sound quality benefit it has provided.
