Speaker Delivery Delays

Anyone else suffering extensive delivery delays? I've been waiting delivery on a pair of SCM150asl classic speakers for months. These delivery delays seem to be adversely effecting other manufacturers as well - particularly the larger ones. At least ATC are continuing with production (albeit at a much slower pace) through the pandemic. Sometimes staying small has it's benefits.

I also heard that ATC's order book is over-flowing. I hope this doesn't mean an expansion is on the cards. ATC needs to retain it's cottage industry charm.

I haven't any recent orders, but is it clear what are the delays between ordering and delivery in more normal times? My SCM50A classics in a standard veneer took very close to three months between ordering in late 2017 and delivery in early 2018. My dealer warned me of a longer wait for special finishes.

Service waits have been long, due to the demand and priority on manufacturing new kit, as I understand it.

My experience 3 years ago with a wait of 8 or so months to get my 100s in for a service. I’ve been back several more times since and had shorter wait times but I’ve got to know Pete and just pestered him, quite a lot lol.

I think their order book has been over flowing for some time, which is obviously a great place to be!

Keep pestering, it’s a lot of money!

Thanks. I ordered pippy oak. I am happy to wait. It has given me time to finish my audio room. But I'm ready now!
