  • crossover change from non SL to SL

If I want to change the mid/bass driver on my SCM20 to the SL version, is there a change in the crossover necessary?
    Any help is appreciated!

I have no direct answer but if no-one else does there is at least a part-clue to the answer on Mark Hennessy's SCM20SL page at Hi-Fi › ATC SCM20SL (markhennessy.co.uk).

He provides a schematic of his SCM20SL crossovers with component values (at least for his vintage of SCM20SL). Now what is needed, of course, is the schematic of your SCM20 crossover with values, to see if the mid/bass crossover section's circuit or values are different. And maybe a clue to understand if either crossover has changed over time.

      Thanks Jophill,
the schematic of the (older) SL version is a help.
So if i want to make a change at mine, i will see if there is a difference,
and how to bring it in the right way.
