Dead bass drivers

Hi
Both my bass drivers have stopped working simultaniously in my scm 40 mk1. Any ideas?

Two bass drivers simultaneously not working - that's extraordinary IMHO. Is there any chance someone has been doing something reckless in your absence? Even so, if it's the drivers themselves I don't recall having seen a report of any ATC driver failure. They get tested rather extensively at the factory to ensure field failures are rare.

Is your amplifier working properly? A power supply failure of some kind, shared between two channels, might account for both bass drivers not working.

I could propose some basic electrical checks to eliminate various possibilities, but I don't know if you have the means and the skills to do that. If not, perhaps someone locally could come round and check some basic things out.

I would check all of the cables/connections first before we point the finger at the drivers. I assume by SCM40 you are referring to the passive version?
