  • The German Special Models of the 50/100/150 actives, called FF(Finest Fidelity)

A forum colleague from the German "Aktiv Hören Forum" noticed that he and I own special German models, he as 150, I as 100. Around 2010 the then new German importer ATR had a special series with the normal tower case, but with the fully discreet Anniversity electronics of the special edition models. Only these models were made available to the German trade magazines for tests, a rogue who thinks badly. These Models named FF for Finest Fidelity.
According to ATC, only a good dozen of these versions were built, and only in the tower version. In addition to the fully discreet Class A electronics, they are characterized by 2 transformers on the base plate instead of one on the back of the amppack. To identify these versions, it is sufficient to unscrew the back of the amppack and look. This note may help second-hand buyers of active ATC speakers.

Congratulations on your very special model!
One day, when the crisis is over, I will gladly accept your invitation and listen to your speakers!

You have reminded me of a review I saw of what was called the SCM50A FF Private Edition. In leather.

        Thanks for that link jophill!
I'm astonished that, even after years, always a new special Edition pops up for me.
        A leather model... Wow!

          Hello
My model is same as this one, only in cherry

You can see in the review, that the electronic is different to the normal amppack.
The model of the other user is exactly the model from the review in the german magazin „Stereo“, only rebuild to a black buffle and black stands.

It is very interesting, that the model that was tested is a 2010 build model with an retrofitted ATC tweeter. Perhaps because the Anniversity electronic was inside.
