jRiver DSD and Flac Buffers

Hi All,

I have a question, does anybody use a CDA 2 MK2 with jRiver using the USB input ? I have a few DSD files but mainly Flac files mostly ripped from CD plus some Hi Res files all stored on my Qnap Nas, when I use my Microsoft Surface Laptop connected to the ATC usb using jRiver most of my files play fine but the DSD files and the 192 24bit Flac files buffer, I have tried the Laptop hardwired and wireless but that makes no difference I do have a very good Wireless Signal, the settings in jRiver are to ATC's specification, just to add my Naim ND XS 2 plays the 192 Flac files fine I have not tried DSD as it only supports up to DSD 128, any advice would be helpful ?

jRiver should work flawlessly. Perhaps message ATC for their thoughts.

I did exchange a few emails with ATC they thought I had set it up as per instructions but came to no conclusion, jRiver plays all the rest but not very Hi Res Flac or DSD which buffer.

That's strange. Maybe someone has a workaround. Unfortunately, this forum has very limited participation and you might be waiting a while before getting a response. Maybe try Hifi Wigwam - they have a fairly active ATC forum.
