Hello Garfield some would say I just want an answer on every topic in the atc forum, or I'm one of the few whom knows its back......
Anyway Yes i use a 2 yr old LG OLED not sure of model number, likely bottom of range as typically screens are the same, in most of the range (in same model year) its a 55 inch
and if you have not seen an OLED recently compared to any LCD, flat screen I think you will be amazed, gennuinly in the last 10 yrs OLED i would say is litterally a game changer, incredible blacks, contrast etc. Plus when I do watch a 4k with HDR the pop of bright & then shadow is something to behold. No doubt their 2020 models are even better you
can't go wrong with LG. I think Panasonic & Sony use LG screens which they add processing to, so the base screen is often LG.
If you have a surround or sound bar I would always save funds and go with the basic model LG for its fundamentally superb picture/screen
Oh and no issues at all coming upto 3 yrs old now. Also a quick note on price mine RRP on launch was £2k, soon came down to around 1600, then Richer Sounds did a limited time offer
so picked it up for £1250!!! Went back to £1500 a week after. (don't often manage to get the offer but did in this scenario

simonthepieman thanks for this, that gives me allot od re-assurance that LG is pretty much the right way to go.
I have seen a few TV's in Currys this week and they sure do look sexy.
think it may be time for me to upgrade my TV at home considering I am allowed to stay at home and work 🤗
been looking at the LG CX Series OLED TV
Anyone else had any experience with the LG OLED TV's?
Hi Garfield, I nearly bought the C9 or C8 Oled 65 model but had some brand snobbishness so kept with Sony and use an AG8 65 OLED as of Xmas 2019. I think I would have been happy with LG for sure.
I found this forum quite useful if you are still unsure...
